A much loved Colonial family kitchen/eating/dining area modernized with new Wood Mode/Brookhaven Cabinets, African Rain granite counter tops, stainless appliances, green glass subway tiles and a custom Oceanside mosaic blend for a unique column in the counter top-- quite a contemporary conversation piece.

This fun kitchen remodel expanded their kitchen and dining room enough for us to place a larger island (her dream) in the middle of the kitchen. The cabinets offer warm tones of natural cherry and a custom green paint on the island. A large new picture window was placed over the sink to see all the natural wildlife in their backyard.

Butler "door ways" were added from kitchen to dining room, with new transoms on the beyond dining room wall, allowing more light to penetrate this room on the east side of the home.

Along with all this, we moved their powder room from an awkward location in the middle of the kitchen eating area to the front hall and completely redesigned the look of it, incorporating the existing solid doors where we could.

Under cabinet LED lighting, a refinished oak floor and neutral walls (to showcase art and the cabinet colors) are the finishing touches.
