Once in a while a project comes along that really excites and challenges your whole teams’ ability to work outside the box. While the fundamentals of construction still apply, this technical project was a learning experience in acoustical engineering. A longtime client asked us to build out a recording studio in his existing business. The project was designed by a nationally recognized sound engineer that designs professional recording studios from Nashville to LA. Many times, we would question why something was put together or fastened a certain way. The response was always a positive learning lesson in acoustics that changed the way we think about building practices.
