For this project, the homeowner wanted to turn an unused side yard into a clean, usable space. We removed the existing soil, graded and compacted the area, set forms, and poured a new concrete slab to tie into the existing patio. The slab was pitched for proper drainage and finished with a smooth broom texture, creating a low-maintenance pad that can be used for parking, storage, or an extended patio area.
