For this shower remodel, we tore out the old unit and built a new waterproof shower pan and walls, then tiled everything from floor to ceiling. The walls are finished with large-format stone-look tile in a staggered pattern, paired with a white hex tile floor for extra grip and drainage. We added a recessed niche trimmed in metal edging for storage and installed new matte-black fixtures and rod to give the space a clean, modern look that ties in with the rest of the bathroom.
