I love a banquette. Typically, upholstered seating along a wall or under a window, adds so more to a room. Whether it's for 1 person or a crowd, for perching or for climbing into to read a book or have a nap, the banquette is a show stopper. Functionally, It allows us to squeeze more 'bums' into our room, or at the dining table. It's a place to dream by the window, or to get cozy when you are alone in a large room. We can dress it up or down, throwing beautiful pillows on it, while stashing childrens' toys in the drawers underneath at the end of the day.
