The task at hand for this kitchen renovation was to overlap the existing kitchen floor space almost precisely BUT to magically find additional storage space and provide preparation and serving counters where none were available before. While this sounds like an impossible task, we achieved these goals and more! by swapping out the 'eat-in' dining space at the front window with a reduced spot for sipping cappuccino at a bar across the front window. The rest of the space was claimed by the kitchen cabinets as well as using some of the vertical space as well. It is quite a departure from the way it began. All new custom cabinetry and appliances, counters... the works!
