The ground floor kitchen at the rear of this Annex house was remodelled to open up views to the south-facing rear yard, as were the rooms on the upper levels. Working within the existing envelope of the house, the structure was re-engineered to allow for a spatious and stunning kitchen, in what was a tight and cramped cooking area originally. The black island serves as a focal point, while the white millwork quietly blends in with the white walls.
