This clever client divided her 3-storey home into two apartments when she split up with her husband several years ago, creating an income unit on the top 2 floors and occupying the main floor with her school-age daughter. Now ready to expand their living space with a basement renovation, she enlisted the Home In Transition team to assist with clearing out the area. It was a big job as this creative, multi-talented client had the tools of her many trades stored throughout the space.

For this job we worked in phases, with the client, and according to her schedule. In addition to sorting through everything, disposing of unneeded items (including two trips to Household Hazardous Waste depot!) and organizing what remained, we also did a photographic inventory of her antiques collection and worked with her to sell off the items she is no longer using.
