Bathrooms - a relaxing haven to refresh and revitalise yourself for the day ahead or wash away the stresses of day-to-day life.
Lighting is, of course, vital! Nobody wants to be having a soak in the bath with a downlight directly above their head!
The only real task lighting you need in your bathroom is over the mirror to help with shaving and make-up. The best ways to achieve this is either wall lights next to the mirror or a lit mirror but with the fitting towards your face. The back-lit mirrors are lovely but don't do a great job of lighting the face. Mirrors should ideally have a cooler white light to match natural daylight for your make-up.
Always remember to use IP64 fittings in the bathroom, particularly around the bath and shower - these will withstand water splashing them with no harmful effects.
