Jon Walsh and J. Walsh Construction, Inc. completed this design-build project overlooking Mission Bay with panoramic views through Bay Park canyons. A partial tear-down and complete remodel, Jon Walsh and design team worked with the home owner to create an interior space with balance between defined areas of use but good flow, privacy but expansive views and interaction between indoor-outdoor spaces, and a sort of compound or courtyard effect between home and detached garage. The original roof line was not disturbed on the front of the home and this served as both foundation and inspiration for the Mid-Century lines which are revealed as one walks into and through the home.
