The homeowners are a pilot and flight attendant, respectively, and are always traveling for work. Their Bay Park home is their "vacation" home, the place they retreat to when they aren't flying. This was once a 1950's-era home with three small bedrooms, one bath and a cramped, dark kitchen. An addition that expanded the kitchen and created a new master suite gave the homeowners the space they were looking for. Vaulting the ceiling in the kitchen and adding a skylight lightened up the whole house.
