Objective was to add an entertainment room/home gym and view deck to an existing second story master suite addition done in the 1980's. The design challenge was to integrate new rooflines and facades with the existing and camouflage any distinction between the two projects. A creative solution to the lack of a fourth washroom for the entertainment space saved big money. Instead of adding a 4th toilet to the house ($13,000+), the master bath adjoining the room was reconfigured so the toilet and sink area is accessible from both the master bath and the game room.
