This was a low budget remodel of a 1970's condo recently purchased as a vacation getaway. By keeping the plumbing and electric in the same locations, we were able to minimize costs. Simply removing the upper cabinets allowed light to flood into the space and light up surrounding areas. By removing the previous cooktop cabinet and venting, we were able to utilize the window wall for a new bank of cabinets, adding much needed storage. The placement of the new refrigerator capped off the now 'u-shaped' kitchen.
