The homeowners were looking to not only update the existing home but enlarge it as well. We tore out an existing patio and added two new lower level guest suites with a new Kitchen and Hearth Room above in its place. What was previously a Kitchen and Dining Area was turned into a large Dining room with seating for 18. The Garage was expanded and we built a new outdoor patio with fire-pit and stairs down to the skier trail access. The finishes were high-end and accomplished with acute attention to detail. The challenge came when the owners decided to spend the holidays at home, a full six weeks before the completion date, however, with a combination of great subcontractors and good old-fashioned hard work from project manager, Tom Wood, the homeowners enjoyed their holidays in the heart of their newly renovated estate.
