Black Bear | Cordillera, CO
This 4,900 SF addition, linking to the client's existing residence through a suspended bridge, respectively showcases unique mountain living features including stunning views of the Gore Range from one of its many patios and from its cozy interior. The rustic stone and timber exterior is highlighted with surrounding aspen groves, exquisite gardens, cascading waterfalls, a trout pond and a chapel. Initiated by the client, this project was designed to emulate old national park architecture.
MMH was awarded the opportunity to build this first-rate addition in effort to give the client more space to entertain guests. Whether at the movie theater, outdoor kitchen, bourbon bar or one of the five fireplaces, this space creates a welcoming atmosphere suitable for those who love the fine art of traditional building materials and craftsmanship.
