Narrow kitchens are sometimes hard to design with all the elements that the homeowner wants. With not a lot of room for appliances in the surround cabinets, the customer decided to go along with the double ovens so the cabinet takes up one square of the floor plan other then two. An island is added to the center of the kitchen to follow the narrow length, and add a drop zone in the center. Since the kitchen was narrow we had to come up with different ways to add some decorative details without taking up extra space. Shelves were added to the side of the fridge to hold decorative tiles and other small pieces of artwork. Open shelved cabinets were installed to show off everyday items and turn them into the artwork of the room.
