The kitchen has a beautiful marble backsplash with soft white, cream, and grey which pairs perfectly with the cabinetry and island.

The entry to the house adjoins a powder room and flows through a dining room to the open concept kitchen and living room. Large porcelain tiles in the entry are great for messy boots, and the handscraped hardwood is perfect for disguising the wear and tear from the family.

The stairs and upper hall are a high traffic area so they chose wood stairs and opted to continue the same handscraped hardwood from the main floor in the main traffic area upstairs but decided on carpet in the bedrooms for a softer and warmer feel underfoot.

This laundry room is conveniently located upstairs near the bedrooms and has cupboards to house detergents and a counter for folding and sorting clothes.
