New landscape for a new addition to a restored New England classic. The backyard was very steep and had no outdoor entertaining space. We carved into the hillside off the new addition to add a new terrace and seat wall. This new space connects the house, driveway, carriage house and back yard. We re-graded the backyard and used boulders found during excavation to create a level area for play. We also added a new fence and a variety of trees, shrubs and perennials for year round interest. New shrubs, perennials and bulbs were also added in front of the new porch and along the front walk.
