Landscape for a new house with challenging site conditions. Because of ledge conditions all of the stormwater was collected in two rain gardens located in the front yard. The ledge and existing trees limited the size of the backyard. Because of the shade and shallow soil conditions synthetic turf was installed to allow the kids a safe dry area to play. Steps were added to access a wooded area and play structure. A mixed material patio with seat wall and grill area were added for entertaining. Large mixed plantings were added for interest and privacy.
