The kitchen was opened up and extended. The solid cherry cabinets and stone provide warmth while the high gloss backsplash tiles with concrete countertops and stainless appliances add a modern twist.

Two drawer dishwasher provides a sleek look against the cherry cabinets. The cork flooring is both hard wearing and comfortable under-foot.

The stone creates a heritage look and emphasizes the depth of the window well at the sink. The sink has a 'micro edge' that is recessed into the concrete countertop so as to be flush with the surface of the countertop. It looks good and is practical for cleaning.
