A fantastic project taking a large empty space and turning it into an amazing media room with full custom bar, handcrafted wine cellar, media area, pool table and fireplace with a very comfortable sitting area. The Original Creative Spaces was responsible for every aspect of design and construction. The features of this project are numerous only the highlights are listed below:

- Oak panelling, including custom screen wall
- Hand crafted wine cellar
- Tin ceiling behind the bar
- Faux brick
- Stainless steel counter behind the bar

- Custom ceiling design

Note; framing and drywall was handled by the builder.

From behind the bar you look out over the large media room, complete with pool table and wine cellar. The bar is fully equipped with drawer style dishwasher, microwave, full fridge and draft tap. Finished in dark stained solid oak and fully customized, the bar creates an old English pub feel.

Responsible for full design and construction. The bar was part of the larger media room that provided full and spacious bar facilities where guests can gather, chat and enjoy a drink from the well-stocked bar. The bar and all of the panelling was constructed of solid oak and oak veneer.

A creative design generates a lot of interest on the wall behind the bar. A lucky stop at the local glass store found an etched glass panel that had been created for the Canadian Senate but never used. It provides the focal point on the wall, a real conversation piece.

A cosy area within the large media room and bar. The beautiful fire surrounded by faux brick is flanked by custom cabinetry. A lit showcase allowed the homeowner to display memorabilia telling the story of his grandfather's time with the Canadian railways.

The Original Creative Spaces worked with the client to design a Wine Cellar that oozed class. The handcrafted wine racks made of solid oak worked perfectly with the faux brick and flagstone floor. The light oak panelling on the ceiling was a last minute decision that added the final touch.
