Significant drainage improvements were needed as a part of this Scarborough patio installation. The house perimeter drain as well as under drain for the patio were both routed to an existing swale at the edge of the property, screened with native dogwood shrubs. A later phase added locally sourced boulders and native plants to avoid maintaining lawn along the granite steps from driveway to back patio.
