A home in transition for a family in transition.

This home no longer met the needs of a growing family, but was renovated with a desire to broaden the familiar feel of the existing home.

A more modern vocabulary was injected into the scheme while an open floor plan and extended glazing allowed natural light to create a sense of place within the home.

Different levels or depths of texture were experimented with in order to create an aesthetic that presents itself more thoughtfully than a typical suburban home or than the existing home itself.
