Caesura Brooklyn
The micro-units at Caesura, a mixed-use building in the Brooklyn Cultural District developed by Jonathan Rose Companies, come furnished with a variety of space-optimizing designer furniture from Resource.
These hyper-efficient micro-studios each come outfitted with our Swing Sectional wall bed or Penelope Sofa wall bed; a media cabinets with a 49” smart TVs; a modular cabinetry and closet system; and two types of transforming tables — the Mini height-adjusting table and the Goliath expanding console.
Resource Furniture worked with JRC to assist with the space-planning of the project, as well as logistics, installation, and ongoing service.
Our modular transforming furniture give the units an elegant, contemporary looks and feel — but it also gives them functionality that far exceeds their compact dimensions (314-384 square feet). For instance, our Mini table acts as a low coffee table during the day, but can be transformed into a dining table large enough to seat eight.
Efficient use of space is an invaluable amenity in the Brooklyn real estate market, where rents rival those of prime Manhattan locations. By using our furniture, JRC was able to extract as much value out of the spaces as possible while maintaining a price point in line with market comps.
This newly constructed building at 280 Ashland Place, on a former parking lot diagonally across from the Brooklyn Academy of Music, is 12 stories and has 123 units.
