This residence nestled at the base of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin was conceived as a series of cascading bent roof forms conforming to the slope of the site. The large expanses of glass take advantage of the canyon views and make for light airy interiors. The materials are mostly dark natural hues and include many fire-resistant materials such as steel, Coreten, and concrete. Through the use of natural wood and stone throughout the interiors, we were able to achieve our clients needs for "warm modern".
