Renovation of this historic carriage barn in Burlington VT included a second floor rental apartment, now the The Carriage Barn Wellness Suite rented through VRBO and Air B&B. We undertook a complete redesign of the 600 sq ft upper level apartment to create a comfortable, modern and healthy rental unit. We worked with the owner, who is a wellness consultant, to incorporate wellness products such as an air purifier and water enhancement system as well as safe and eco-friendly materials throughout. A clever floor plan maximizes functionality while creating an open spacious feeling. The apartment has a compact, but well appointed kitchen, an open living area, separate bedroom and modern bathroom, as well as a laundry.
