Short on space and tall on functional demands, this kitchen maximizes every inch. Working with a local custom cabinetmaker and using Vermont-harvested birch, the custom cabinet accessories and features accomplish
many tasks, including a laundry and mail/phone landing area The raised dishwasher provides improved accessibility. The space-saving convection microwave above the grill/range doubles as a second oven for holiday cooking. Frosted glass cabinet doors create dimension and textural interest above a breakfast bar. By enlarging windows and creating a dining pop-out we were able to bring in light and mountain views. Improved task and ambient lighting make for easy working and flexibility when entertaining.
