During construction, the front porch with sliding glass doors begins to reference the design of the adjacent home.

The kitchen area is being outfitted with custom cabinets and stone counters. Upon completion the area will be perfect for the entertaining.

The completed kitchen with bar can seat apporoximately 10 people in leather and wood barstools. The counters and cabinets were built specifically for this project.

24ft ceilings can be daunting and oppressive; however, the transom windows along the top of this barn style ceiling allows light to flood the center of the room. 6ft fans circulate the air and wood planks give character to differing ceiling heights.

The decorative crown mantle above the TV was built to enhance the sound and project it further into the space. Behind the diagonal wall is all of the techonology. Access to this "closet" is found below the TV and can fit a grown man.

Although two completely separate buildings there is a direct connection between the exisiting house and newly constructed lodge. The hunting lodge has its own unique characteristics, but many design ideas from the house where adapted for the new addition.
