This classic home theater utilizes a cinemascope (2.35:1) format screen. The large 150” diagonal screen truly brings the movie cinema experience into the home. Media Rooms worked very closely with our client to design and fabricate the space. The first step was to construct new walls to define the space for the theater. This included moving existing basement walls and constructing new walls to create the perfectly proportioned theater room. Media Rooms then installed the décor and the audio video systems to bring our client’s dream to reality. Media Rooms designed the interior and fabricated the décor elements (columns, moldings, proscenium) in our in-house cabinet shop. The room has a 4K laser video projector, 150” screen, a nine speaker Dolby Atmos sound system (all the speakers are hidden) and two subwoofers.
