This kitchen remodel changed the entire living space of this home. Once cut off and choppy, opening up this kitchen to the living area and stealing some space from a generous laundry room, we were able to create a functional and beautiful space for this family. The windows on each side of the commercial range were replaced and resized to bring balance and lots of light to the kitchen. The cooking area is outfitted with a 6-burner range, built in fry basket and a pot filler, and the backsplash is a mosaic of cararra marble. The quartz countertop replicate the veining in the marble and provide a durable surface for lots of cooking and entertaining. There is also a functional appliance garage for the coffee maker. Edison light bulbs bring a glow to the glass pendants over the island and LED can lights give lots of bright light to the space. Out of camera is a large walk in pantry for essentials. The original 8' ceilings were raised and vaulted to make the space much more expansive. Lots of large drawers, a built in wine rack and undercounter microwave put the function at your fingertips.
