This condo kitchen was initially a U shape trapping the cook behind a sink. The design concept was to open up the kitchen to the rest of the living space and create a bright contemporary kitchen utilizing every square inch for storage. With pot storage pull outs, utensils easily hidden (and accessible) next to the range, and hidden blender and microwave storage this kitchen functions like a galley on a boat but remains free of clutter on the countertops. The custom tile backsplash was an inspiration from the Glassy Baby candle holders the homeowners collects and add a nice pop of color again the veined white Dekton countertops. When bills need to be paid a small desk was placed right near the kitchen with a pull out drawer equipped to charge phones and tablets. This colorful kitchen is a happy place to be and satisfies the needs of the inspired chef.
