This inspiring Country French Estate has a plan that was largely informed by the first client wish; “I want a large home that is bright and sun-filled”. With the luxury of a large property, the schematic house design was stretched to expose a narrower house to more windows and doors including views of the sun as it rises and sets along with glass at the end of nearly every gallery and passage. This stone, brick and slate house is full of exciting elements from a gigantic trussed great room to a hidden spiral stair. For a house that’s almost the length of a football field, this house was premeditated to embrace the owners with intimate areas both inside and out.
