This space was on the edge of a dog park. Vistas of the lake were hidden by large invasive trees and vines. We cleaned out the area of all non-essentials and created a space for the whole community to enjoy. I designed a walkway that separates the dog area from the butterfly garden. Several endangered native species were included in the plan and the butterflies started laying their eggs even before all the plants were in the ground! There are lovely breezes blowing daily from the lake and several seating areas to take advantage of this colorful space which is now full of life.
