Concrete Sidewalk Becomes A Stroll Garden

Concrete sidewalks can be so mundane. We took this opportunity to create a journey and a story by replacing the concrete with extra large flagstones, arranged in an organic serpentine pattern weaving in and out of new garden beds. "Magical" is the word the clients use to describe their new front garden.

At street-side, the new front path now has a better connection to the house, is more organic, and, most importantly, has story. Its shape and material transform it into a stroll garden. I love stroll gardens as they are metaphors for life. We're all on our own journeys through Life.
