Contemporary Hearth Home | Custom Home
Now empty nesters, our clients were very excited to downsize from their larger Cupertino home to their smaller Santa Clara home. Although they are are big fans of contemporary design; this would stand out in their Santa Clara prairie ranch style neighborhood. So, our architects used transitional elements such as a hip roof, (the same roof shape as the ranch style homes in the neighborhood) but updated the look by using metal material and clean contemporary lines. Another way they integrated their design into the rancher style neighborhood was keeping the entry courtyard, and more importantly our clients’ beloved kumquat tree.
The interior of the home has a very contemporary look with high vaulted ceilings, transom windows, an open concept living space and smart home technology.
