Located in the Ray Park neighborhood of Burlingame, the clients desired a house that reflected the charm of yesteryear while providing modern convenience and interior designs. Our goal was to design and build a new home that looked like it "belonged" in the neighborhood.
We kept the scale small and the details consistent with the original character of the neighborhood which were mostly designed and built in the 1930's. To add much needed light throughout the house, we added tall dormer windows in the entry hall facing south to provide natural light all day long.
The great room has an 11' tall ceiling with dormer windows creating light and sky views from the great room.
The end result was a modern living home with an open floor plan and a great room that fits comfortably in the neighborhood.
Our goal is always to build the nicest home in the neighborhood that looks like it belongs there.
