Contemporary Project
Our enthusiastic and fully engaged clients sought to transform a non-descript home on a very challenging hillside site into a sophisticated contemporary residence. The design required the demolition of 80% of the existing structure before commencing work on a redesigned foundation requiring thirty hand dug, forty feet deep caissons. The design details that emerged over the course of the project were extremely precise, with minimal tolerance for error, and demanded intense strategic construction planning and oversight.
Establishing a close collaboration between our client, the architect and Synergy's project management and subcontractor team was an essential first step in delineating and executing a workable design. Given the project's constantly evolving, highly original and intricate design intent, Synergy's management team and their specialists were compelled to be highly proactive in the development of the unique solutions that were required in executing the work.
