Warm horizontal-grain bamboo cabinets are the center piece of this soothing master bathroom. Two shades of gray tile were used in the space, which offset the lighter gray walls and dark countertops beautifully. The bathroom, located in Durham, fits nicely into the rest of this transitional home. Storage niches, both visible and hidden, in the shower, provide ample storage and the angled shower shape makes it feel very roomy and comfortable. By bringing the honed granite countertop material into the shower, we are able to provide much needed storage and a nice way to tie the space together. The adjustable handshower provides versatility when showering and there is even space for a free-standing bench in the shower, if it is ever needed. The window brings in light but the frosted glass allows for privacy. Sleek towel bars and hooks provide storage inside and outside the shower. Use of vertical LED sconces provides great light around the clean-lined vanity area.
