This 4,557-square-foot suburban home in Steiner Ranch had strong architectural bones but needed a thoughtful transformation to align with the modern lifestyle of its world-traveling family of six. Frequent visits from extended family abroad meant the home had to function beautifully for both everyday living and large gatherings—while reflecting a fresh, updated aesthetic.

The renovation began on the main level, where the lounge, dining room, living area, and primary suite were reimagined to complement a recently updated kitchen. Clean lines, refined finishes, and curated furnishings established a cohesive modern feel, while comfortable indoor-outdoor pieces enhanced the home’s connection to the pool and backyard—creating effortless flow for entertaining.

Upstairs, the project expanded into a full-scale remodel. All bathrooms and bedrooms were completely gutted and redesigned to better serve the growing family. We reconfigured spaces, added windows to brighten a former attic room, and introduced a new bathroom to increase functionality and comfort. Each bedroom was thoughtfully tailored to reflect the personalities of the young tweens, while the upstairs gathering room became a true standout—featuring a custom mural and an integrated rock climbing wall for energy and play.

A sophisticated guest suite was designed to provide grandparents with a serene, hotel-like retreat during extended stays. Throughout the home, modern sophistication is balanced with playful, personalized elements—resulting in a dynamic, highly functional space that supports connection, comfort, and creativity.
