Let's not snuff out the story just because it's hard to talk about. Our client was faced with this project almost directly after losing her husband. The loss was an all too blatant reminder that nothing in this world lasts forever, even for us at the office... Kitchens don't last forever either, and her's was on it's way out. Our mission was to create a lasting work space, a kitchen that functions for you and takes care of itself. We needed something steadfast for someone who's world was just shook. It's no surprise we selected Kraftmaid Cabinetry who shares this same mission "to make your kitchen look and act, in 25 years, like the day they were installed." Other notable longevity features include an integrated quartz composite sink by Karran, a Delta faucet (DST), a glass tile backsplash, and full glue vinyl tile flooring. If homes really are "a machine for living in" then we just built the cornerstone. Every kitchen remodel is much more than just getting a new kitchen. It has a need. We identify and meet that need.
