The designer called this remodel "bittersweet." The renovation was the result of a house fire that destroyed the majority of the homeowner's possessions. This gave the homeowner an opportunity to reconfigure the layout of the kitchen. Although there are things she will miss about her old house, she is very happy with her completed house. With all the changes made to the house, she said it still feels like home. The kitchen features solid and glass front Kraftmaid cabinetry in canvas, engineered quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an integrated sink.
