This traditional kitchen is natural wood utopia. These homeowners came to MBS Interiors to update their kitchen and dining room by maximizing storage space and adding a more attractive finish in place of their dated white cabinets and countertops. They fell in love right away with Kraftmaid's natural Rustic Alder and selected a simple Shaker door style to let the natural wood stand out on its own. A simple crown molding matched perfectly with the door style and finished off the top of the cabinets, mirroring the shoe molding at the bottom. A new coffee bar took the place of their previous free-standing shelving, and is joined with the corner pantry by a bench that provides extra seating for the dining table. The homeowners are very pleased by the functionality of their new layout as well as the beautiful rustic wood pieces that were selected for their cabinets.
