Cover Pool 1

This client wanted his pool to be a “destination” away from the house. This design allowed the client to break up his two acre back yard, avoid moving a septic system, and made it possible for him to maintain a 50 foot grass backyard for his kids to play in plain sight from the house.
Safety was paramount with these homeowners and was the driving force behind the power pool cover design. The indigenous critters and trees in this country setting were also a concern.
It was important to the client that the materials matched or complemented the house. The coping is thick travertine with matching pavers for the patio area. The large limestone fireplace matches the house stone and is flanked with wall seating making it a perfect area to enjoy the patio in the evening. It is also large enough to shield all the pool equipment including a chiller to ensure the pool is always refreshing no matter the ambient temperature.
The pool boasts a large sun shelf, a black pebble interior, and an in-floor cleaning system.
The 25 foot long water feature brings a beautiful natural waterfall element to an otherwise formal design. The client wanted the feature to also serve as a barrier to the view of the guest house toward the back of the property. This feature turns off automatically if the cover is closed.
