We're proud to have had a hand in creating this beautiful kitchen for Robert and Timothy, owners of Grid Architectural Surfaces + Tile. Robert and Timothy designed their kitchen themselves, and we think they did an awesome job of opening up the space and updating the room without sacrificing the original details and charm of their 1905 home. They made the ceramic hexagonal floor tile by hand at their tile studio, and the complimentary tile in the backsplash was re-purposed from the original glass panels which were previously in their dining room. They were able to cut the hexagonal shapes using their water jet, and then the small tiles were carefully arranged in sheets for easy installation.
