This craftsmen style house in the Historic Ghent residential section of New Bern was completely renovated. New Shaker cabinets were designed to compliment the vintage crafted wood hood over the microwave. A thick wood counter top and ceramic farm sink compliment the original hardwood floors and peninsula cabinet. Home owners designed the wood tops, beadboard back-splash and color scheme to keep the historic charm of the house and neighborhood.
