This modern kitchen is set in a historical home in New Bern, NC. The exterior remains true to its historical setting and front rooms. For this project, the kitchen was opened up to the great room and completely remodeled. The finishes are Blueberry tinted varnish on perimeter cabinets and Marshmallow Cream tinted varnish on island cabinets. Cabinets are by Fieldstone Cabinetry. French gold hardware pulls add a bright bold accent. Tall utility cabinets provide tons of storage space which frees space around the wooden range hood for open shelves. Two islands round out the space and allows for great family gatherings and entertainment.
