The home was built in 2000 on a long, narrow lot in the city. Although the kitchen was not “old”, it did not suit the needs of this culinary couple. It was dark with a cramped working pattern and definitely not a chef’s kitchen. They wanted a restaurant-like kitchen with loads of prep counter space, a baking center, improved functionality flow, specifically designed storage, high-end appliances and increased room for entertaining. Remodeling the kitchen, necessitated a refreshing of the adjoining family room to ensure continuity of design and an entertaining ambience.
