This original 1958 kitchen totally had the feel of galley along with all its lack of function. The new design improved the lighting, demolished the low hanging soffits and maximized the backyard view and natural light. The kitchen gained prep counter space as well as entertaining room by moving the location of the refrigerator from next to the range to a pantry wall which now also includes the wall oven and microwave.
