The Cyprus Cove Residence is a 4,669 sq.ft remodel located in San Clemente California. The goal of this project was to reinvent a southwestern style home into a modern home that integrated indoor-outdoor living. This was accomplished by restructuring the exterior of the existing building, introducing a new finish material palette and adding an entry courtyard that becomes an extension of the indoor environment. We selected natural materials to finish the building such as wood, stucco and different types of stone. The combination of these materials was carefully chosen to create a Modern Organic Architecture. Our goal was to utilize natural finishes, in a modern context, to create an environment that felt warm, inviting and cozy.
