Home Remodel from 1965 ranch. The old deck was removed and a new space was created with seating vignettes for various occasions. Privacy wall was built with an opening that can be closed with a bamboo shade. An L-shaped sectional was designed with a ledge around the perimeter and arm rest for setting drinks and food. It provides conversation and relaxation for small or large groups. An eating bar hides a gas meter and can be easily lifted for access. A second bar area with 2 sides is great for either enjoying a drink and snack or watching backyard activities. A café table and chairs tuck into a corner for an intimate space.
The pavers have an old world charm and are durable and elegant. A large bamboo roll shutter is concealed in the pergola for full privacy outdoor space. A large umbrella helps protect against the sunny areas where the trees miss. This new space makes for a very festive and enjoyable place to relax and entertain!
